I think they make a special o2 wrench. If you don't feel like spending money on it, it's like 20mm or something odd like that. Try using some PB Blaster on it, too... that stuff works wonders. If you don't have some Blaster, WD-40 should work too, but PB is better.

Also, remember physics... the greater the length of thetorque arm, the less force is required to achieve the same torque. Put a bar or something on the wrench to extend it a bit.

thanks bro I got it anyways...i just took the entire old header off and then got it off nice and easy when the header was out! took it for a spin already and notice some gains in the whp already...it seems to be making a bit of a sound though and a slight smell...now that might just be because i changed my oil today as well and i did spill a bit in the engine bay...the header gets hot fast eh? that bad boy is already bronzing over...love it though!! great install! now for the WS2 in a month!! can't wait!

Glad to hear you got everything done... and every header smells kinda funny at first. I think it's like the finish burning or something. Headers are usually louder than stock if you listen closely. Also, now that you've taken it for a test drive, go back and re-torque all the bolts. Sometimes they come loose; a lot of people forget to do this.

Hey, I just bought this header. I'm just waiting for it to get here. How easy or hard was it to install? I have a 03 civic ex coupe if that matters? I haven'tever really worked on cars before so I was just wondering what I'm in for.

depending on how quickly your bolts come out, it's a pretty straight forward easy/medium install

The new header is definetly louder than the stock one, i could hear the difference right away...i'll post some pics here i'm just waiting for my phone to charge!
