Default Header Installation Bolts

Okay well I've read some post here and there but I got my megan header in and goign to install it in the morning, heres my first question. Do I honestly need a T-wrench? I mean I know its recommened but I have no dough right now not even for a 15 dollar one lol.

Is there a way to tighten it and come close to a t-wrench with jsut a rachet? Liek you know on spark plugs 2/3 turn or whatever crap.

Thanks for the help in advance.

All I needed to put on my header was, a socket wrench, 10 - 13 or 14 mm sockets, adjustable wrench and alot of wd 40.

You shouldn't have a problem with the over tightening I didn't have any problems with it. The only thing that gave me a problem was getting the stock exhaust manifold out of there. Putting the header in was cake after that.

I think you do need a t wrench. Because fi you dont do it tight enough, your gasket is gonna blow.

I had rattles when the crossover into vtec occured, because I didn't have the springs on the bottom bolts connecting the bottom header pipe to the exhaust pipe. Once I got the springs put in, it went away.
