Default RE: header question

you can have a 4:2:1 header thats a one piece or 2 piece, the 4:2:1 just means it goes from 4 pipes then it has a small junction into 2 pipes (2 of the pipes form one pipe and the other 2 do the same) then those 2 pipes merge and form 1 pipe

http://dcsports.com/ViewProduct.aspx?ProductID=761 here is a link to a 4:2:1 one piece the conversion is in the middle from 4 to 2 thewn at the end they have the 2 to 1

http://dcsports.com/ViewProduct.aspx?ProductID=781 here is the 4:2:1 header two piece, same exact desighn exept at the same place of the 4to 2 conversion they added a flange to make the entire header two pieces for easyer installation. hope this clears things up

honestly the one piece versus two piece are about the same install-wise. yeah it seems like itd be easier, but honestly it doesnt matter anyone.

And +1 for the ceramic header, it disapates heat alot better, but i liek the way the stainless looks alot better.

alot.LMFAO

1/0gauge wires ran to the rear for my stereo... power and ground..
then another 1/0gauge wire to the strut bar and then running over to the engine block..
for power i also have a UNused currently 4gauge ran to the rear, 2 fuse box ABS wires.. another 8gauge wire set wired right up to my radio, and another wire to the starter... and the other one from the alternator....
LOL
thier was already quite a few wires hooked up to the little stock battery! i just cleaned them up alot and added safety by using the distrubution fuse block. only thing thats not fused is the starter wire.but thats just cause i didnt have a fuse strong enough for it so i didnt even try yet.... and i just havent ordered any extra fuses yet....

ceramic looks the color of the engine, dissipates heat better, and costs 100 dollars less for dc sports. I have it and love it. But i respect the stainless too-prob would have gotten it if it didnt cost 100 dollars more
