i have a 2004 civic dx. will a civic ex after market header fit my car

Well, I have a DX '00 civic and I just put on an EX header... it fit beautifully. Btw, wrong section. *moved*

no not without modification. ex header has like one extra bolt that bolts to the motor.
and ex header needs an EX cat. so if you want an EX header you might as well just get that and a aftermarket EX catback

it'll work. but you'll have to get an aftermarket exhaust too to get the header and exhaust to line up.

Hey guys, I got almost the same problem...... I have 2002 LX i want a header and catback..... what do I need to get LX, DX, EX. I know they dont make LX headers.... so what do I do.....

Whew! THread from the dead. As my old response, you need to shop for an EX header. However, when you buy an exhuast, you will also need to buy an aftermarket cat. Magnaflow makes a great one. Have the cat welded (it doesnt cost much) into the 'a' pipe of the exhaust. Dont forget to pick up an o2 simulator. go to www.o2simulator.com . DO NOT stray from their instructions that come with the o2 simulator.
