Default Headers

I have been looking at the DC Sport 4-2-1 and 4-1 headers, is there much of a performance difference between these two different headers, second if anyone has any suggestions as to a different brand or different headers thats going to give me a nice sound and performance boost please let me know.

dc is one of the best, and as far as performance, they're both practically the same, just read the website and it'll tell you the difference.

you don't determine the type of header you need by sound, the 421 has a different performance impact than a 41, just search it on this forum and you might find out.

4-2-1 headers provide better low-end power and straight 4-1 headers give bigger increases in the mid range and top end. I'm quoting Super Street on that one (October, 2005 Page 136)

Also, 4-1 headers are slightly more lightweight than 4-2-1 headers due to them not having the extra flanges and everything.

the reason i didn't explain it is because this has been covered more times than bush's presidency, and they need to learn how to use the search feature or learn how to google something like this.

4-1 top end
4-2-1 mid-range

similar to CAI vs. SRI

get a 4-2-1, i dont think you really need a 4-1 unless you're pushin some real power
