Default Hedman tork step?

Any body have any experience with the hedmans tork step header and mid pipe for the 96-98 civic. i live in labrador where emissions is not quite
as strict as in other areas so the emmision restriction doesn't apply to much. i'm about a week away from ordering so any feed back would be exceleent

Hedmen has a habit of "personalizing" the spelling on their products. After all, it is Hedmen Hedders.

Anyway, I don't have experience with the Tork-Steps, but I do have a Hedmen Chikara header. It's worked fine for me; easy install (as all headers are), decent gains (for a header), and I haven't blown the welds yet. Just a warning, though... that beautiful finish that comes on the header will be gone after about 20 minutes of driving.

Go for it-- Hedmen rocks! lol

Yeah, I'd definitely have to recommend Hedmen... after all, if you don't like the way the header looks after a while, you can paint it or throw on some wrap... I'm probably going to get some blackheader wrap this summer for mine...

i'm used to small block chevys, and on those most headers will never bolt up properly, leading to a constant leak. how does hedmans mounting flange stand up compared to those stalwarts?

actually, mine bolted up fine... the only problems I had were getting the cat and the downpipe to line up... other than that, it fit pretty much perfectly.

yours didn't come with a down pipe. thats the biggest selling point for me. it's the single hardest part to find especially in labrador

According to this site autopartswarehouse.com Hedman headers aren't street legal, for raceing only blah blah blah. You think a cop would give me trouble for that if I got one?

if you live in cali, then yes, if not, the cop probably won't know what a header is?
