when buying an aftermarket muffler, you always want to go with a good brand; if you don't, you risk the muffler sounding like crap.

read the exhaust faq for a list of brands you can trust

I have basically the same car and i went with the Magnaflow muffler. albeit with a little more exhaust mods, but the tone at idle and WOT are amazing. The only thing about my exhaust is that it is straight pipe (no cat or resonator with a header) and the sound around town at low speeds is too loud, but with just a muffler replacement on stock piping it should sound amazing.

Isn't that what you have my05civic?

I say go with the Mangnaflow Race Series Exhaust very Good Quality been Buying there PRODUCTS for over years.......And Yes If you Purchase a cheap Exhaust it will sound like crap after a while. You get what you pay for Bro.

***I prefer oval mufflers because they have more packing VS round one's. Round one's sound different compare tothe oval one's.******
I always go with the Street Series because RACE Series it's a little more louder.

This is the exhaust I got On My 00 Si..........any of the followings will work for you all have the 2.25" inlet

Please note you can't buy directly from Magnaflow.....I know it sucks.

Thats what I did I just replaced my Cat with a high-flow and just added my exhaust and it sounds amazing. I didn't do custom pipping on mine because My Si comes already with 2" inch pipe it would be a waste of money FOR MEto go with the 2.25" Pipe. Like if it was a big difference to go with 1/4 bigger [sm=icon_blah.gif][sm=icon_blah.gif][sm=icon_blah.gif]

Wow thanks Civic SI!!

Those are nice. My friend told me that Glasspacks are the best for "Ricers" so that was the only muffler that i know.

Magnaflow looks nice. I dont really know much about mufflers. Im just getting started on modding my 96' LX

So any help i can get would be appreciated

Oh alright

I saw that flowmaster makes a muffler for Civics haha

I'd like to hear that deep, throaty sound on a Honda [sm=smiley36.gif]
