That isn't a high flow cat looks to me more like a test pipe converter. Test pipe are illegal on street and wont pass emisssion test so better be careful on the street esp california.

I agree looks like a test pipe. I personally have a Random high flow cat and haven't had a problem with emissions or computer throwing codes on a 99 Ex....

I purchased mine at McNews Automotive in Dillsburg, Pa. Go to McNewsAutomotive.com and you can write them to get a price. Or you can do a search on Random Technologies and find some place else. I am warning you now the cats are kinda pricey but the tests show they flow like strait pipe but still keep you emmisions legal. This is the reason i broke the bank to get one i don't have to worry about passing the sniffer test.

I try checking with Random Technology but they don't make a high flow converter direct fit for the 2005 Civic but they do have one for 2003. Is it the same or Should I get a universal one?

Any suggestions?

Magnaflow also makes some that are really reasonable, but I am pretty sure they are all weld-in. But I have nothing but good things about Random Tech.

Random Tech. seems the favorite so I wanted to know if the 03 civic high flow converter would fit the 05 civic.
