Default How much better airflow from a intake manifold?

Just wondering about how much more airflow and resulting hp I would be looking at with an aftermarket intake manifold? And what would be a good brand? Thanks!

estimate no more than 10 hp(at the crank). Skunk2, Edelbrock are the top two brands I've heard good things about, though I'm sure someone else knows of other brands.

hp gains vary from the mods you already have done to the motor. If stock motor, and just the manifold, expect like 4-6 crank HP. With CAI, and exhuast expect 7-10 or so.

There is 1 company that makes an intake manifold for out generation civicboy, KMS, but heard very mixed reviews leaning toward the "DO NO BUY" side. Apparently there is a way to use D16Y8 manifold on a D17 engine with sligh modifications but I haven't found out yet how exactly that works.

I rather take the 'for sure' route if ya get my drift, how many bad reviews? cause you could give someone a million dollars, and they bitch that the gov't is gonna take too much out of it

my point- there's always gonna be someone to bitch and complain

lets rate the bad reviews compared to the good reviews at about 60% to 40% respectively. 7thgencivic.com has more info on the KMS manifold.
