How to remove upper O2 sensor

What is the easiest way to remove the 02 sensor on the exhaust manifold with out a torch?

drive it around a bit then be real careful when taking it out, is prolly easyest, pb blaster could help 2

the problem with that is that its already out of my car.... and i have tried PB blaster on it.

vice grips? idk, isnt it just screw in/out? WD 40 maybe too, but that might damage the sensor so watch it.

Simply tighten it a bit more then loosen it. It should come right out.

put a little liquid wrench on it. let it sit overnight. next day put clamps on the manifold to hold it down and take a wrench and put a pipe on it. that gives you a lot of torque. you need to be careful not to crack the manifold though because i'm assuming it is rusty. if it still doesn't come out put on torch on the manifold to heat it up a little bit. mechanics do that all the time. that will do the trick. they do make O2 sensor sockets. autozone has them for 15 dollars. get like 3 different arrangements.
