Default HX Exhaust

I've been looking at Exhaust systems for my car and there are very few out there that I have found. The only one who really makes one I'm interested in is HKS, now the fact that they are $550+ kinda sucks. The only one I saw that was cheap was the pacesetter, but yeah I don't care for them. So I was wondering if there were any other cat back exhausts out there that would fit my car? Thanks guys.

There are a lot of systems out there that will fit an HX but are not explicity advertised as being for HX's. I wish I could tell you which ones, but it really varies. Hell some systems designed for DX won't fit LX, a lot of them for EX won't fit DX/LX (although there are some for coupes that fit DX/EX but not LX)

WTF I'm confusing myself. Best bet would be to call people (manufacturers, sellers) and ask them straight up if it will fit your car.

lean burn VTEC-E engine (117 HP in 7th gens, not sure about 6th gens) and in the automatic model they use a CVT tranny instead of a slush box.

115 hp in the 96-00 models. I'm unsure of any other differences though. I'd like to know myself.

You should customize your cat back then.

Just change it from an HX exhaust to the EX it will make a very large difference in throtle response and over all performance
