So I just installed a cheepo Intake from ebay, I plan on getting the V2 when I get this mini me swap done...

I have a custom 2.5" exhaust and this intake. When I got the exhaust I noticed a loss in low end power, now that the intake is installed I'm good 0-45 mph, but lose power between 45-65 mph, and pick back up from 65-100 mph, I guess my only question is, will I get my mid-range power back when I put the header and cat on?

 

i don't think you "lost" power perse. i believe, by comparision, you just gained more on upper and lower end; the curve is probably just flat at that section. what kind of header did you purchase? 4.2.1 for low-mid; 4.1 for mid-high RPMs.

 

a full exhaust is a night and day difference from a muffler only... it will be a noticable change.

 

I bought a 4.2.1 header with high flow cat... I'm pretty unhappy with how it performs now, hopefully the header and cat changes it dramatically.

 

I ran a header and full midpipe back to a stock muffler for about 2 weeks... got the muffler and the car woke up. Big change
