Just one comment... instead of getting a lighter battery tie-down, why not just get a lighter battery? Or both. Forget the shiny oil cap, too.

That's a great list, but I would personally like to get a little more performance out of $2K. I know that there is really no way around it unless you bargain shop, but $1150 for I/H/E is way out of my budget.

I say you go F/I, but that's just me.

p.s.- How in the hell does Greedy get away with charging $500+ for a catback?

here is what i would do w/ your list,

ORIGINAL: es2001civic Product Qty* Price Total
Aem standard cold air intake (you wouldn't notice the difference w/ the v2 waste of $$$)

GReddy EVO2 Polished Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System, 60-70mm Tubing - PTGRE10156651 $503.95 $503.95

DC Sports Ceramic Coated Race Header (4-2-1 Two-Piece Design) - PTHHR5019 $378.95 $378.95

Tokico D-Spec Series 16-Way Adjustable Shock Kit (Incl. 4 Shocks/Struts - Springs not included) - PTDSP-6 $590.95 $590.95

Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts (2 Torque Mount Positions) - RED - PT16-1111 $23.95 $23.95

then start saving for boost or whatever you want to do

I would either do the B16 swap, or go forced induction, some people like rocking the D.
