I Read the Exhaust Sticky and still have a question..
Now I understand that if you want to convert from DX/LX to EX there are a few steps that need to be taken.. Do they not sell catbacks spec. for EX's?? I have a 99 EX and i'm replacing the catback on it hopefuly with an Apexi WS2.. being the cheap 17-year old working for minimum wage I am, I found a set up on Ebay for 400 bucks.. is this going to fit properly with my EX?

It should fit; it says 1992-2000 Civic Coupe EX/Si in the description.

yea man WS2 is a great exhaust
definitely not cheaping out |
Ok i feel like you guys could be helpful with something else completely unrelated to exhaust... instead of starting a new thread i'll ask here... no matter where i look on the site, i've kind of reached the conclusion that i'm really not going to get much more performance out of my car than redoing the entire exhaust from the header to the catback... it's an automatic civic EX and being automatic it would be useless to turbo it in anyway... does anyone have any suggestions other than replacing the engine or putting a manual tranny in it?

Honda autos aren't strong enough for turbo, which by seeing what you said, you probably already read that somewhere. The auto loses more power through the drivetrain than manuals do also. |
here is the info on the swap https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=31774
