If i bought the AEM Dry Flow filter for the ease of never having to oil it, just occasionally wipe it down to remove settled particulates, would itsurvive and function well forever or would it need replacing? If so, what timeframe for usageare we looking at?

no. unless it spontaneously combusts in your engine bay like a ebay filter... which won't happen cause it's an AEM
