Ok, I have a D16Y8 Intake manifold that I am putting on a D16Z6. My question is which gasket do I need? The Y8 or the D6? Or does it matter? When I called the parts store they said that they are 2 different gaskets so...? What do ya'll think?

I don't think it would make any difference.

not sure but I know they make vinyl ones that let less heat though to the intake manifold to keep intake temps down. You should look into that since your doing it anyway.
