Default Injen vs. AEM

Ok so I'm thinking about buying a short ram intake for my 99 civic ex. This is the first performance mod I will be putting on this car. I've been looking at the Injen shortram ($150) and the AEM induction kit ($105) I think they are both reasonable prices for me to spend, however I am wondering if anyone knows which performs better or puts out more added HP.

they produce the exact same amount of hp. go for whichever one you want. AEM tends to be chosen over Injen because the name sounds better so to speak...

Injen just reminds me of Jurassic Park, and we all know how well THAT Injen worked

Ha ha, I hear ya on the Jurrasic Park theory.

My .02.. Go AEM, i picked mine up online, autoanything.com or something like that if I remember correctly. It was here in about 3 days. Easy install, great sound, almost like I have turbo at high RPM's, but I don't :-)

I got the synthetic filter that doesn't require oil, seems to be doin pretty good, no problems to report!
