yeah i know, it was my own dumb fault, i come home from an hour long drive, popped the hood and was like "oh i better re-tighten them" pffft, didnt even think to let the engine cool lol... total brain fart. im waiting for a phone call right now i got the car at a shop getting one of the valve cover threads re-threaded
then ima take it out for a nice easy drive and listen to the new sound

really? i have a megan 4-1 header for my 02 DX (ex header though) and it fit right up! everything was perfect, o2 sensor bung, i re used the OEM bolts/springs to fit it up to an EX downpipe, and it fit great and sounds great too! only thing was getting the old exhaust mani off was a BITHC!!!!!!!! took me and my dad 5 hours of swearing and being mad, but we got it on and it was WELL worth it! love the feeling when you get something like that done yourself and not paying someone to do it
Same here but less time.....good stuff though.

Looks nice!
I'm tempted to buy a header someday but all my money is going towards my auto->manual conversion right now (thread: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_52.../tm.htm#527828).

Same damn thing happened to my front-center headstud when I painted my valve cover and retightened those bolts without a torque wrench. Unfortunately none of the guides mentioned anything about the bolts or the gaskets :P

yeah my friend has a DC Sports header, but stock I/E, and you can hear his raspiness. I think thats just how they sound.

Anyways..you should definitely paint your valve cover bro!
