Installing Muffler

Default Installing Muffler

I was grocery shopping today and after I finished I was outside loading groceries in my civic. A guy that had pulled up with a 7th generation civic came up to me (he saw my green and black interior, probably figured I was a fellow ricer, lol) and said he was selling a Greddy Evo II Muffler (It think it was the one on his car). I asked him how much and he thought about it and then said $100. It sound like a pretty good deal to me.

My question is, since this is just a muffler and not a exhaust system, how hard to install would it be? Would it require welding? If so how much would it cost to install.

it would require welding by a muffler shop. my muffler weld on cost me $50 total.

If it's a true Greddy, I'd say go for it... they're pretty nice exhausts, and even if the muffler wasn't from an Evo II system, $100 isn't a terrible price for a muffler.

save that $100 for a catback. or buy it, then sell it for $150, and then save for a catback
