which intake?
I've been doin a lot of research on intake for my 2004 civic lx coupe auto.. any suggestions? im thinkin k&n, aem, or injen.. probably stick with ram since cold air wouldn't be too effective in the location im livin at... thanks!

RE: which intake?
I think you'll be Ok with any of those, but looking at the dyno sheets- the AEM makes a ton of Hp over stock for the lx/dx models. Like +12 if I remember right, whereas the K&N air charger is only claiming like +6. Half the Hp but it's also probably half the price. Let us know which way you go.
Oh yeah, welcome to HCF. That search button up top will be your new best friend. |

RE: which intake?
weapon-r makes good ram intakes, AEM also does

RE: which intake?
why wont cold air work for your location?
AEM will make 5-8 depending on the app...injen usually stays at a constant six, k&n about the same...but short ram doesnt gain anything over your stock exhaust...sorry |

RE: which intake?
short ram intakes wont give you any power gains over the stock box...at least not that i know of.

RE: which intake?
That can't be right. I know those things aren't just for looks.

RE: which intake?
1-3 on stock if your lucky...maybe some low end torque...but if you have some serioius power on your engine and then add a short ram then you may get what you will get on a stock engine by adding a cheap CAI
