which intake?
I've been doin a lot of research on intake for my 2004 civic lx coupe auto.. any suggestions? im thinkin k&n, aem, or injen.. probably stick with ram since cold air wouldn't be too effective in the location im livin at... thanks!

I think you'll be Ok with any of those, but looking at the dyno sheets- the AEM makes a ton of Hp over stock for the lx/dx models. Like +12 if I remember right, whereas the K&N air charger is only claiming like +6. Half the Hp but it's also probably half the price. Let us know which way you go.

why wont cold air work for your location?
AEM will make 5-8 depending on the app...injen usually stays at a constant six, k&n about the same...but short ram doesnt gain anything over your stock exhaust...sorry

1-3 on stock if your lucky...maybe some low end torque...but if you have some serioius power on your engine and then add a short ram then you may get what you will get on a stock engine by adding a cheap CAI
