I have a short ram right now and I'll tell you that I don't like it. Im waiting on my cold air intake to get here right now. The ram does give you a little torque but after it gets hot under there, it's just not worth it. Why don't you go with a cheaper cold air intake, since they're all pretty much the same...it's just pipes, and then try to cold air intake and the short ram. If you get the 2 piece piping for the cold air then you can use both

short ram intakes wont give you any power gains over the stock box...at least not that i know of.

dammit i was gnna get a short ram, is this even true.
well for a while i was under hte impression that it gave you low end torque. then sacicons said something about how he had found no dyno yet to prove any gains at all. all it does i think is make your intake louder.i dont think it helps at all performance wise

quite the contrary. CAI pwns SRI. all i said was there is no proof out there of any gains from a short ram intake

SRI will probably still give you better gas mileage along with better throttle response (than stock intake).

Even with a bipass vlave there still is a chance of water entering, plus its too much money.
