Default Intake help

I just recently bought a 5spd2003 ex coup and i want to start moding it and i figured a intake would be a good place to start but i am having trouble decideing which intake would be best. I am really debateing between the AEM v2 and the Injen CAI but i am open to any brand or price, any help would be great.

Both are really good intakes. kinda pricey thou. i used to have a CAI i bought out of ebay for $60 , changed the filter to a K&N and i never had any problems and the car sounded and responder a lot nicer.

alright i read the intake FAQ and it helped a lot so now my question is, will either the AEM v2 or the injen CAI require me to remove my bumper?

well alot of times the V2 is SRI style, which doenst go down into the bumper at all, so that obviously wouldnt require you to take off your bumper, but even if you do its not really that big of a deal. Its like a screw in each wheel well, some plugs along hte top and then maybe a screw or two on either side of hte plugs, its really like a 5 minute job

i bought an Injen CIA MR intake for my 01 ex and it was pretty easy!

I didnt have to take the bumper off, just had to remove the battery for the installation. It works great and i love it! plus it converts into short ram for those rainy seasons! no hydrolockin!

the v2 for the 7th gens is a sri, no bumper removal required. plus, its a better intake, i recommend it!
