Don't listen to NailBunny, Maddawg. He has some affliction to SRI's for some reason. SRI's and CAI's of the same inner diameter are identical on the dyno.

I am pretty sure AEM manufactures their intake to make a sporty sound. It gives the impression of performance even if it isn't. Ford spent millions researching what tone most people associated with power and then tuned their truck intakes to that note. It doesnt' flow any better- it just sounds powerful through the resonance of the intake tract.
