it will give u SOMETHING, obviously over stock. But dont expect much. Its just louder so u feel faster, but its really not.

 

the V2 isnt an SRI. its like some weird custom design.

i think SRI's may increce your throttle response since it doesnt take as long for air to get through to the engine

supposedly its been dyno proven to give you more performance than a CAI

 

Don't listen to NailBunny, Maddawg. He has some affliction to SRI's for some reason. SRI's and CAI's of the same inner diameter are identical on the dyno.

Xcm, your car sounds pretty good. That vid is kindy freaky with all of the leg hair, but educational nonetheless. Keep that handy for next time smeone wants to hear an intake.

I am pretty sure AEM manufactures their intake to make a sporty sound. It gives the impression of performance even if it isn't. Ford spent millions researching what tone most people associated with power and then tuned their truck intakes to that note. It doesnt' flow any better- it just sounds powerful through the resonance of the intake tract.
