So im getting ready to put the JDM D15b in my 95 dx. When im looking for intakes and headers and stuff, do i pick them out to match my engine or to match my car?

 

either way most civic intakes will fit a variety of engines like all d series and some b.why would u put in a d15?even if it is jdm,wouldnt it be like downgrading?

 

lol no not at all i have a d15b7 right now a non vtec 92hp -20lb/in for torque. the JDM d15B is similar to the engie in our 92-95 ex. its a SOHC vtec with 130HP and liek 106 lb/in. trust me i dont think i could downgrade much further from the engine i have now

 

Plus he can get that motor pretty cheap

Thats what I thought. I think after driving around with your motor you have now you will love the motor your wanting to get.

 

a d15b can be made an insane SOHC screamer if you can build it right.

Eventually i will want to go turbo. A little while after i get the engine together im going to get a full exhaust 2.25 mandrel bent with a random tech hi flow cat. If i decide to go turbo, should i get a bigger pipe diameter?
