Hello HCF

I have a quick question, I just got a ITR TB for my D16Y8 in Skunk2 IM.

I noticed that the ITR TB has a extra tubing at the top that the stock D16Y8 doesnt have. What should I do with tht? Waht is that for?

My guess would be some sort of vacuum assisted sensor on the ITR. I would throw a vacuum cap on it and call it a day.

 

You got it. I just cap it off with electrical tape for now.

Thanks. It runs beautiful with that TB now. Just the AEM air filter piping I have right now is kinda small. I guess it was designed for the 56mm stock D16Y8 TB. What do you recommend in that case?

 

You can always sell that and go with a 2.75", or 3" pipe for the intake.

I was planning on buying an $80 eBay intercooler pipe set-up and making a nice custom intake out of that. Of course, buying a filter would have been separate.
