Default K&N

hey guys, i search forums for a little while, and i could really find anything to answer my question which is i thinking about replacing my old air filter. right now, i have a AEM dry flow air intake on my 00' ex. the stock aem filter is pretty dirty, it had sand and stuff in it. you think its worth spending $80-$100 on a K&N filter?..will i see any diffrence at all? oh, and dose the size of the filter matter?

thanks

I doubt you'll see any difference between K&N and AEM... just get another AEM dry-flow and save yourself $50

With the dry-flow, can you not get a cleaner kit?

nope, dryflow don't have any cleaner kits that i know of. TOP 2 brand of air filters are infact K&N and AEM dryflow... K&N has a cleaner kit, it's for the unlazy people, buy it once and keep it forever w/cleaning it out when i needs it. AEM dryflow you change as needed. both are amazing brands.....but wait....someone stop me on the AEM i do recall hearing something about a cleaning for it? ask MY05CIVIC lol he'll tell you

I think with an AEM dryflow, you just rinse it with warm water and let it dry... that's why they're called dry-flow... they don't require oil like other filters do.
