As far as i know, any intake won't do you much good in your car. The theory of a cold air intake is that cold air will be entering into the cylinders. Cold air is compressed so you can stuff for air particles into the cylinder and more fuel as well. The only problem is that the throttle body has a coolant hose flowing through it to heat the air/fuel so the fuel will be in a gaseous form so it will actually ignite. Therfore a cold air intake won't really do anything no matter what company makes it. Looks cool under the cool however. My 2 cents

well, good point, but that coolant line heats up the air about the same amount no matter how high the temp is to start, so if it starts out cooler, it ends up cooler. so, say w/o the cold air intake, the intake temp is 95*, then it passes through the TB and heats up by 10*, then the air temp is about 105. start with a cold-air intake, and if that air starts out at about 75*, then heats up about ten, even eleven or 12*, your still at about 87*. noticeably less than the 105 with a short ram. i made up the numbers to show the theory, so dont blaze me for them not being right, but the theory holds true. and a v2 has different resonance in it, so i cant tell you exactly why its better, but it has been shown in independent tests, to make more power than any others.

K&N is a great company for intakes, if you're finding it very cheap on Ebay then its probably a look-a-like and not the real thing.
