k&n question

Default k&n question

i bought a the cleaner kit for my k&n filter right? right. question really is, how long does it take to dry?

funny because I just cleaned and oiled my filter last night. The instructions should say to let it dry about 20 minutes before re-installing it. Remember to only oil the "dirty" side

i used it before and I always let it dry 1st for about 2-3 hrs..air dry.and then re-oil it after has been dry

sorry, I misread the question... let it air dry completely. Probably atleast an hour. Then oil it and wait 20 mins before installing it.

all done with it, pretty easy really, soak it with the cleaner, rinsed, took about an hour to dry, did the oil, let it dry over night, put it back on this morning, deffinate sound improvement, nothing really noticable in performance.
