To have your exhaust exit out the side of the front bumper?

That's totally NOT legal in the US. The exhaust must exit behind the driver's position. If you've seen older muscle cars with side pipes, like the Stingray, the side pipes are extended to beyond the driver's position.

This is the law so that the driver doesn't get CO poisoning.

Are you sure that that is an exhaust outlet?

those i think are legal in some states (texas is the only one i know about), or they wont care. it depends on which state your in as well as how loud it is. if its not that loud and not reallt noticeable, i dont think cops would care and pull you over. they might ask how you went about gettin that. i think it's pretty cool. i live in CT, and i know having the exhaust before the rear tires is illegal. i have a 2007 mustang GT500 with a custom exhaust, cirvini body kit and custom paint job, and the exhaust comes out the side of the car before the front tires, but i've only got pulled over twice, and both times were so cops can look at the thing. they love the side exhaust.

That's what I was thinking. But since I know nothing about Turbos I didn't want to be pwnd myself. lol

btw, I didn't know that wastegates were that large. I though they were just discrete pipes coming down.
