i just ordered a magnaflow cat back today... got it from jegs for 395 with free shipping. i blew a whole in my exhaust last week so i needed something, but i couldnt get stock, and couldnt afford greddy. i hope its not to loud, in maine we have some strick cops due to our high rice rate.

 

ive heard good feedback on magnaflow from this site.

magnaflows are nice an meaty that is how mine is.......doesnt have that pinging high piched noise to it you will like it.......trust me

 

what is the model that you got...im looking for a cat back..and 395 is def what i could spend..so post the full info on it if you will, oh ya, and the site you got it from (if it was offline)

 

can you get a sound clip of it when you get it installed?

 

I just checked out magnaflow.com and they have sound clips on the site..AWSOME feature..even if the clips arent all that accurate its a good starting point

 

i installed it last night. and it was super easy to put in. useing the lift and my tools at work i did it in 20 mins. the only prob is i have a small leak where it slips on after the resognator. it sounds really nice. not too loud, but can still hear it. as good as a 1.6 can sound i suppose. i got it at jegs and its the only magnaflow they had. has a regular round can with a 4.5" tip and a resognator. i noticed that it also came with a pipe to delete the use of my cat, i didnt use it due to the 02 sensor but thought it was nifty. mabie when i figure out how to trick the computer into thinking the cats there i will install it.
