Default magnaflow cost question

Hello. I want a magnaflow cat-back exhaust installed on my 2005 honda civic EX SE. I been calling around and getting quotes anywhere from $250 to $505 installed. I was just wondering why the price would be such a big differnce at different shops. Should I be careful with going with the lowest price? Is there anything else I need to tell the guy before he installs it for me? Thanks for your input.

I'm talking about the actual cost of the magnaflow cat-back exhaust and the installation.

u can get the system off of ebay for under 400 shipped, then i personally would put it on myself if i were u, but if they are charging anymore then 40-50 they r ripping u off, it only a few bolts amd shes off

Hey. Well the place I called today told me they could install a magnaflow cat-back exhaust for only $289. I'm just worried cause that sounded pretty cheap.

do it yourself. before you get it put your car up on a jack and get under it...its very self explanitory really...its just a take off the old one, put on the new one. then you can take that 250 and get an intake too

Hey guys... Just to make sure we are on the same page here. The guy told me that a Magnaflow cat back exhaust system and the cost of him installing it would only be $289. Just seems pretty cheap to me..

I would make sure everything is right before you put have them put it on. Theres really no reason you should pay anyone to put an exhaust on, but thats your choice to make. But anyway, that does sound fairly cheap. Make sure they aren't giving you a magnaflow tip with cheap *** non-mandrel piping.

i would want to see that exhaust before i believed that one, maybe just a drop in muffler but not a catback, the system alone has got to cost him more than that, but i would go check and ask to see what he's going to put on
