Well, here is a link for a DIY of putting a y8 manifold in a 7th gen civic.

Well, the y8 manifold is probably the best one honda has ever made (99 ex auto, I believe was the one that everyone suggests using). Your best bet it to track down chimera and send him a pm, as he has this on his car and he would be the one who would know about the gains. I'm sure you'd feel more of a gain by making the engine breath better (intake, header, exhaust etc...)

You should definately feel a difference, even if it was a slight one; I really can't tell you what kinda gains you would see on a stock car, esp with a stock Y8. In that swap pay special attention to where I distinguished between installing a Y8 and the Skunk2 bc there will be some steps that I did that you won't have to. As for the wiring, etc. most of it should be the same but there will be a step or two where you will be on your own.

Good luck and do a review once you get it on there.

wow that looks like a great mod to do...but in the picture of the swap that guy did the engine was D17A2(v-tec).
Will the intake manifold/fuel upgrade work the same for D17A1 engine???
