so i bought a short ram intake for my 06 civic (1.8) and it was running fine for a week or two then on 4 occasions, while i was idling (stop sign red light ect.) the engine just died on me. When it happened i just shifted back to park and it started up again no problem... but then on Saturday after i parked it somewhere and came back it didnt want to start!! The engine turns over fine and starts for a second or two but then just dies. The check engine light had been on the since the previous night so i took a scan with a diagnostic machine i have and it spit out codes P0102 (Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input) and P0113 (Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input) im quite sure the cause is the intake system but i have no idea how it would have caused it.... does anyone know anyway i could replace the sensor AND keep my intake?? os should i just go back to factory? also the intake i have is a rather cheap one so could that have anything to do with it??? please any help would be greatly appreciated...

P.s. im stuck driving a yaris for a week

 

the sensors that were on the stock intake need to be swapped over and put on the new intake and plugged up

 

they were its only a single sensor... the new intake has a spot for it and t been up and running

 

what brand of short ram? if its a egay one your going to have problems with it get a fujita or a k&n Typhoon.
