Default Muffler Help!

I have a maxspeed muffler right now on my 96 civic ex and it is loud but lets face it it doesn't really sound all that great. I was really looking for a good top of the line muffler that has a nice deep tone and won't sound all ricey. Any suggestions???? I am looking in the price range of about $180 - $220.

Do you have a resonator and cat? Someone mentioned without a resonator your muffler will sound extremely raspy. My exhaust is loud, you can hear it so much inside the car but I don't think the previous owner had a resonator on it. Anyway its dropped to low so I can't check until I get it on a lift which I don't have I agree with the poster above, try ebay thats were I plan to get mine.

Oh and for around your max price range I think you can get a full bolt on system, but if you just want a muffler you can get that with lots of money to spare.
