Bastards! Well at least it's good to know that$70 is somewhat overpriced.

Sort of related question -- I'm doubting the magnaflow muffler thinking that it may sound too raspy, not deep enough and too loud. I'm debating whether I should return themagnaflow andget an OBXtwin loop on ebay?

i have a magnaflow and its perfect... very deep, not loud unless you get on it, and not raspy whatsoever on stock piping, from 1000 to 6000RPMs

definitely the right choice for these cars, thought don't they get somewhat louder after a while of use?

Is it loud enough that if I come home at 1am and drive into the driveway it's going to wake everyone up?

I've got a '96 Civic. I just don't want to be that kid on the street with a loud muffler that wakes everyone up at night.

shouldn't be loud at all. If you want to hear what it may sound like, check out www.youtube.com and do a search for 96 civic exhaust, i am sure someone has that muffler on their car.

I've already done quite a bit of research but I'm still hesitant. I'm just not sure if I would be more pleased with an OBX twin loop muffler because I've heard some clips of twin loops and theyre fairly quiet.

it won't wake everyone up. not at all. if you want it to be loud, you have the ability to be, but otherwise, crusing, its prety quiet. quiet but deep
