you have a 70-hp 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. slightly under 2" is a good size.

with deterioration and other factors, you're probably using around 50 or less daily

lolz... that's the dimensions of the muffler. we don't care about that. you want to see the intlet diameter. but seriously though, what's the point of adding a muffler to a 50 hp car?

My engine is a D15B7..its only 50hp? =\

Ive only wanted to start putting some things into my car cause so many friends tell me i should drop an intake in it..muffler..rims blah blah da works..n i was like why not... but if its useless..my car will still be crap then not much of sense in doin it.

here's my advice. get a good muffler welded on to the stock piping (if most of its still intact). it'll make the car sound better, and to those that don't know your car/you personally, they'd never know if you were running other mods under the hood

when you do decide to retire the car, just take off the muffler from that car and put it on the new one.

what i meant by "no point" in adding a muffler is that if you want power, there's no point. but if you want sound, which many people care for nowadays, by all means, go for it. just get a good quality name brand one.

it could give you maybe 1-2 if your lucky. but it adds a nice sound and it will give you a better throttle response
