Not a Greddy, it's an APEXi. It's probably about 5 years old (I've had the car for about 2 1/2 years).

I guess I can cross APEXi off my wanted list.

FIXED, $40, done! woohoo!

They welded a patch in, basically. I hope it holds.

You go girl. Did you have to do any flirting? I guess if they see that a female knows what she is talking about they won't try to rip you off though, huh? Do you ever catch them trying to fleece you?

Well, this place, I walked in and definitely knew what I was talking about. That plus I'm not driving a totally stock car. So they didn't try to scam me at all. Nobody's tried to rip me off in a while. Can't say I've ever intentionally flirted with someone who's giving me an estimate, but I HAVE had good luck with pretending to be a poor college student!

ORIGINAL: mxs

In the meantime I sound like a total a**hole
I wouldn't worry about it, there's a lot of a**holes in Roch that make their car sound like crap on purpose. As for pretending you're a poor college student, I actually am, RIT in the house.

Aha, another Rochesterian! I actually WORK at RIT so you may see my car there. If you ever need exhaust work done, go to Monro Muffler on route 15, they're the ones who fixed this for me.
