Hello fellow CiviCians,
So my 89 LX with 65K mi. stock has a hole in the exhaust and I want to replace from the Cat back. Problem is I'm only finding stock... or lotsa stuff for HBs, whereas mine is 4Dr 1.5L. Anyone have a good source for me? Looking to spend no more than $400 total. Thanks in advance...

i dont think there is many available for your car. i believe Pacesetter makes one, but i dont have any experience with it. and you could also look into having one made. it will probably be about the same price or cheaper than a pre-made one. but try to get mandrel bent tubing, and stick with about 2.25 inch pipe.

I ended up finding a Bosal system ($331 +sh) for more than I bought the car for ($300). I'll try the local muffler shop boys to put in a new pipe where the hole is instead, or have them inspect it and give me an estimate.

yeah the HBs in that gen are well sought after, but anything else most ppl dont use as much of a tuner, so there arent much aftermarket parts. Custom fab is the way to go. Not only do you have the only civic with your exhaust, but if done right custom fab exhausts can have a higher gain than mass produced cat backs
