^+1 the torque curve moved, because I can notice a difference in 3rd and 4th...

I need to do some research on 4-2-1 or 4-1 to gain some of the low end back.

4-2-1 is what you need if you want low-mid
4-1 is what you need if you want mid-high

ORIGINAL: SoCaL.rider

I just took off the fart can that I purchased the car with and replaced it with custom 2.5" piping and muffler.

Before I put it on I could chirp second, I tried to do it today with the new exhaust and no dice. Did the new exhaust effect my torque that much? or I just need to add the I/H to my E?

any info would help, I got some money to spend I just want to know what to spend it on.
That sucks, no 2nd gear chirp? I get 4th gear chirps..haha just put an JDM h22a in and u won't have to worry bout not getting chirps. But yeah I think u went a little to big on 2.5". But you could make that up by getting a CAI and 4-2-1 header.

i am looking to get a 4-2-1 as well... anyone have anything to say about the buddy club header? it's more money then DC sports, but i think worth it? let me know. also with that racing header they reccomend a magnaflow spun metal converter, 2.5", anyone think i should go bigger or smaller. i am going to eventually throw on a turbo. but i am also putting on a skunk2 or A'pexi exhaust soon, once i get the header.

this is all going on my 07 SI. let me know what you guys think

why purchase a header if you're wanting to turbo soon?

i'm not certain about the new civic's warranty, but i think that might void the warranty. and i'm assuming you're refferring to intake manifolds? and i don't believe they have one out for your model (i'm not certain).

The intake manifold on the new SI is a great design, you can actually put it on a older RSX(k20a2) and gain a bit of power.
