Default no muffler

allright so driving around in the snow lately i hit a nice sized ice chunk and it put a massive hole in my muffler. it sounds terrible so i took it off for a bit until i get some money for a new one. my question is does it hurt my engine in anyway if i drive around without a muffler?

well it wont hurt it.... but it will sound like crap!!!!!!!! depending on how large the actual hole is id say patch the hole with some muffler patch stuff or just a bunch of aluminum foil and some hose clamps

hey it works for a temp....
cause no muffler will probably yell HEY COPS LOOK AT ME>>>>>>>>
i know my old fart can muffler did! ever since i put on my twin loop the cops dont follow me around town much if any lately!

^ depending on how restrictive the muflfer was, might lose some low-end torque though. Theres no damage to the engine though

yeah flip your right my low end torque pretty much disappeared and it isnt loud until about 4000 rpms or if i mash it. the popping sound i get when i let off the gas gets annoying though. i am gonna hopefully use my tax returns for a nice skunk2 or magnaflow catback system.
