o2 question
on my stock header the o2 sensor was located at the bottom just before the cat. With my new header if i am going to leave it there it would be grinding against the boot, would it be alright if I plug the hole, anduse wire extenders and put the o2 sensor in the top part of the header instead?

RE: o2 question
Well, the CEL would go away because essential it would do getting a reading. The problem comes in if 1 is burning rich and the others aren't they computer things all of 'em are burning rich and will give more fuel accordingly. Shooting extra gas isn't the best for your engine. It could also be bad for you cat as well.
Basically, you can do it, but I highly recommend not doing that.

Man....I think you have the same problem I do! I bought a new header a couple weeks ago and after installing it, it rubs on the CV boot. I've been running without a 02 sensor there and it's throwing the CEL. I made some phone calls and they say the longer you run without the 02 sensor the sooner your cat will take a crap. For the guys who have aftermarket cats, they can run a simulator, but for anyone who has origal cat, I wouldn't run it.
By the way what brand header did you buy? Don't run that o2 or it will rip your boot right open.
This is what mine looked like

RE: o2 question
yes that is the same problem i am having, i have it plugged with a bolt right now tho.
so would it be a better idea to buy an extender and runthe o2up top, or keep it at the bottom and risk ripping that cv boot?
