Default O2 sensor

I tried searching for this on here but I had no luck with that...I think this might be a stupid question but I really need an answer...
I have a 96 DX and I'm planning on getting a Megan Racing headers with a high flow cat, the one that doesn't require welding, just bolts...
But since the stock headers has the cat directly on it with a short o2 sensor cable, how would I go about plugging in the o2 sensor cable into the new cat? The new cat will probably be farther down into the system so I don't know if the cable will reach or not, would anyone please help me? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

extend the wires, some companies actually make kits with oem plugs to extend it. and yes, you'll have to modify your exhaust, what you listed will not fit without modding b/c of your exhaust system. you'll need a welder to weld an extention from your cat to your center section before your resonator.

ej6buddy are you saying the megan racing headers + the cat won't fit into the exhaust pipe with the muffler? Could I fix that problem by getting a catback exhaust for a 96 ex?
