Default Opinions on Header

What do you guys think of this header? It comes with the high flow cat. Does it matter if it says off road use only? what does that mean?

Off road use means that it was designed and intended for racing purposes only. I think it depends on your states law whether you can use it or not. Not completely sure about that though. Ive been wondering the same thing about a DC sports header.

Thanks dude. Assuming it is legal in NY, would this kind of header be okay to install? I've been searching everywhere for an 05 LX header and can't find one. I got excited about this one until I read "off road use only."

there are alot of aftermarket things that say off road use only and cheack with your local laws before intalling and what not..its fine tho, unless some cop opens up your hood and knows what hes talking about..but that highly unlikly to happen

Inspection laws are pretty strict in NY. You think it'll pass inspection with a racing header in there?

Are you gonna be doing mainly racing? If not, why not go with a 4-2-1 header?

Ray that hi-flo cat that comes with it is not much better than a test pipe, it will prolly have trouble passing emmisions, BUT what you can do is keep your old header and put it back in before inspection time, then switch it out again.

I would like to but I have not found any that fit my car. If you know of any, let me know.

As for switching header when it comes to inspection time, I'd rather not do that but thanks for the idea.

I'll just wait until something comes along that will fit my car and still pass emissions.

Thanks guys.
