Default opinions on magnaflow

hey. so im goin to buy an exhaust tomorrow. im pretty much set on magnaflow just wanted to get others opinions before i actually made the purchase. ive heard the sound on youtube and its pretty much the deepest, throatiest one i can find. not overly loud either. just wondering how it sounds in person or if anyone knows if any other brands sound deeper (i.e. less raspy and ricey). thanks

I've heard good things about them. Get the magnaflow high flow direct fit(bolt on) cat. Should cost anywhere from $80-$150.

MSN live.com offers 30% off ebay purchases with buy it now using paypal.
find the lowest price magnaflow exhaust on ebay for your car with free shipping and get 30% off. Probably half the price any local place charges and another discount on top of that.

got a magnaflow resonator, love it, recommend it to everyone. The muffler and resonators from Magnaflow are interchangeable if you get the straight through mufflers with the same inlets/outlets. Weld one in the middel for the res, and then just weld one end of the otehr one onto the the end of the piping for the muffler. They can be had for like $60-$70 off eBay.

Bought the Magnaflow cat back for my 07 Si coupe. Flange that connects to cat wasn't drilled properly, wouldn't bolt to cat. Had to have it drilled out to make it fit. Bastards at Magnaflow's only solution was mail it back, would not reimburse me the $45 it cost to make their product work. Overall love the exhaust but Magnaflow people don't stand behind their product they way they should. Mail a 40lb exhaust back across the country at my expense... bite me.

For some reason I had to have my catback extended to fit otherwise it was rubbing on the body where it has the two bends in the piping on my 2000... which is weird because it fit just fine on my 1997 Other than that, it's a great exhaust.

yeah put in on this weekend. sounds good...a bit raspy. the only problem i had was that it was leaking where the s-pipe and the resonator pipe connect. the air was coming out of those 4 slits in the pipe. i had to fill all the cracks with exhaust sealant to get it to stop...
