ordered a new intake!!!

its about time i stop slacking and bought the v2 i have been drooling over. turns out it will only give me like 5-6 peak hp according to aems dino grafs. but hell my car will sound bad ***.... and i am all about that!!!!!

i got it for 240 shipped witch is alot better than the local shop... they wanted freakin $330 for it....

Sweet. The V2 is tight. If I weren't so cheap I would probably get one.

nice..i dont really get what the second graph is tho, but from what i see is dosent really start to do anything till about 4500 RPM

i put that there to compair to a v2 and cai. if you didnt know the v2 is a short ram like system (for 7th gens) that generates more power that aems own cold air system.... plus there is less bull**** during instalation.

pretty sweet. thats on a stock car too. that gap gets even bigger as your engine gets more powerful.

The "Fake J's" intake pulls more power than the AEM's and is a short ram

^ dude you should know that every aplications is different. and a b series app v.s. a d series app will have a huge gap.

not to mention how much a d16 gets v.s. a d17 on the same aplication.

I was just throwing it out there as another option for people reading the thread. Plus applications do not differ between a b/d series when speaking of bolt on parts. the same ones that make the best power on B series do the same on the D series, it's called quality r and d and a company willing to put enough time into a product to make it do what it is supposed to.
