PCV valve

does PCV valve take air in or BLOW out gas from the crankcase?
I changed my intake and put a BREATHER filter (small version of cone intake filter) in my PCV valve.
btw where is the BREATHER? thanks civic gurus

the pcv valve blows air into the head to be combusted....that or the intake manifold. i cant remember which.

That's funny you brought that up, the guy at NAPA gave me a PCV valve with my tune up stuff but I couldn't locate it on the engine... the only PCV valve I've ever messed with was on my Laser race car which was right off the valve cover...

Anyone have a pic of where it's at?

here you go sir,
I think it sucks blow air unburn gas out from the engine back to intake manifold, and then it should come back in the engine (with the stock intake). So the breather filter is no use? lol? help me out

It is a one way valve that lets crankcase pressure out of the valve cover and into the intake.

It doesn't blow any gas. Like I said, it allows crankcase pressure to escape the valve cover. It then vents it into the intake so it gets burned.
