Default pipe bending

Getting a full stainless cat-back system for my 95 1.6 vtec and have a question or two. Is there going to be much difference in power gains having the pipes bent on a mandrel than a crush bending machine? you see I was going to get it done at a performance exhaust manufacture who uses mandrel bent pipes but they cant do it for a week, so I got a quote from another place which uses a crush bender and they said theres no difference between the two methods when bending 2 1/4" pipes It only matters when you have anything bigger like 3",plus there mufflers are better quality to. any thoughts?

every little bit helps... the less turns, the better, the smoother the flow, the better. it wont matter much if your not going to make super amounts of horsepower, but why not wait a week.

The crush place is BS-ing you. There is a difference (though probably not too noticeable on stock parts). If you want to get it crush-bent, get it done with bigger piping (2.75 or 3"). Then the crushed areas will be closer to an ideal size.
