is it possible to port the intake maniflod by your self, and head, like with a dremel.

yes but its not recommended unless you know what you are doing.

let me see if i understand the point to this, theoritically the inside of the ports on the head and the manifold are rough from when they were cast.. so your looking to smooth that out and reduce the turbulance... in addition to that your looking to make the actual port holes line up exactly with the gasket and other holes, so that the air moves smoothly, rather than the ports in the head being bigger than the holes in the gasket, so the air swirlys around shen it goes through?
sounds like several hours with the diegrinder to me... but should be as cheap as a set of gaskets...
