Preferred Catback System?

I have a 2001 Civic DX, and if you dont know, the DX catback systems are different than the EX systems which makes it harder to find one.

If you could leave your opinion on what would be the route for me to go with an exhaust system, that will not make my car sound like a lawnmower.

they DON'T make ANY exhaust systems for the DX/LX trims. you HAVE to go custom, or convert your ENTIRE exhaust setup to that of an EX, which will cost you upwards of $500

i have an lx, and i don't really regret it... it's not like the 10hp makes the ex noticeably faster.

i would say go custom, shouldnt be 500, i would think less. especially if you yourself know how to weld. my buddy made his with 2.5" pipeing and a N1 muffler. (i think it's N1), anyway, sounds pretty good, not totally a lawnmower. decent i'd say. for your car, i'd say 2.25" inch pipeing. shouldnt be more then a could hundred bucks...3-400

RE: Preferred Catback System?

if they dont make exhaust ssytems for ur trim, then go custom piping 2.25'with an apexi or greddy muffler

If the axel back will fit... then get a good one of those and get custom from the cat all the way to the axel.
